How can I keep squirrels out of my flower pots?
I plant flowers in my flower pots and within a few days the squirrels have dug up the plants, some completely out of the pot on the ground and potting soil is everywhere. Any suggestions appreciated.

What can I do to keep raccoons out of my flower beds and flower pots?
Place rocks on top of the soil. Something that is big enough that it is too much effort for them to move. Any home improvement center, hardware store, nursery or landscape supply will have a variety to choose from. That's what I use here in CA and so do my friends in other areas of the country.

Hi Pattie,
These creatures are a big pain! What I did was put broken ceramic pieces, larger flat stones, brick pieces, anything that they could not dig up on top of the soil. This served 2 purposes (actually 3)...they could not dig in and ruin ( discouraged), slowed evaporation , and blocked some weeds. Best to you.
