How can I find or make these ottomans?
I am in love with these yellow/green ottomans I saw in a photo, but am having a hard time tracking down a similar piece! Does anyone have any tips on where I'd find a piece like this or how I would go about making a pair myself?

Have you checked Wayfair? They have a huge selection of ottomans.
Making them yourself would require you to know metal work, unless you want to build them out of wood. I tried a quick search online and finding that color might prove difficult. Here a a few similar styles but different colors you might check out..... you could always spray paint the base and recover them in the color (chartreuse?) you're trying to match.

I agree about the iron work, however the color might not be too difficult if you have access to good fabric stores. As far as the iron bases go maybe you could find a pair of chairs and remove the backs. Although not my look at all, I agree with you about the desirability of the color!
Find a good welder, show him/her the photo and get a price. Have your measurements ready.
Then a piece of plywood, some 4" foam, some yellow velvet (don't forget the piping) and you're set.
It won't be cheap but you'll have something you can use and love in one way
or another for years.
Don't forget to treat the velvet to prevent staining.
Wayfair is a great idea. Look under outdoor wrought iron ottomans. Pricey!
