Hello there, Buy some cheap (Pound or Dollar Shop/Store) Dehumidifier tubs. ( full of Silica Gel that will soak up the moisture in the air. When full throw away. Check regularly.............. Problem solved!

I use Damp Rid hanging bags in my closets, they work great!
I agree with the above answers ! I use the ones from the dollar store and change them out weekly , in the summer , not as much in the winter . You might want to keep a small flat plastic container and keep kitty litter in it and change it out frequently . Litter is also very absorbent plus some are scented . Also you can leave the closet doors open to let the area dry out . Good luck !
