I use mine in arrangements. The best way for propagation is let this years seeds dry then plant..in spring or fall. Or look under your shrub and see if there are any babies.
I had them growing in a house I lived in, in Live Oak Fl, it is called Beautyberry. The birds love them

Callicarpa is a hardy shrub. It will come back next year, just give it a light prune in Spring to keep it's shape.
