Hi Terry. I'm Cindy. I did a bit of reading so that I could answer your question properly. Here's what I learned: If your PVC pipes are at least 6 inches in diameter, they should make fine shoe storage. Measure the length of your shoes and cut the PVC pipes that same length. (about 12 inches on average) Use a circular saw to make the cuts. The saw will create a lot of bits and pieces. Use your hair drier on cool to blow the bits out. Then wipe the pipes out. Next, use an all-purpose cement glue to glue your pipes together. This sounds like a DIY I would like to try. Good luck Terry.
