For red stains I mix ammonia and water half & half. Spray on spot, cover with white towel and iron over it to lift spot.

    Hi Patricia,

Some have tried putting white wine on red wine spots, I have never done this but they say it works. Blot to absorb the wetness.

Mix equal parts of Dawn Dishwashing Liquid and Hydrogen Peroxide.Pour on the stain, add some elbow grease and Wal-la, batta bing the stain is gone. Try to get to the stain as soon as possible.

Hi Patricia! Haven't tried that method. Thanks for sharing!

  • Supposedly if you spill red wine you can pour white over it and it will get rid of the stain.
