How do I keep algae growth out of my garden fountain?
The recirculating fountain bubbles up through a few big rocks. Barley extract just isn’t working. The fountain is in full sun most of the day.
Martha; I add a tablespoon or two of bleach to my fountain water. Let run for a couple of minutes... and then let sit for a day. It really helps.
And we use white vinegar.
You could use a bit of bleach, dish soap and a sponge in warm water to remove the algae. Be careful not to get any on your clothes.
