Hi Cassandra, personally I prefer paint. Wallpaper is really hard to remove if you get tired of it, but that is your choice. Hope this helps you make up your mind. Good luck

I would rather have paint. Just like Peggy said, wallpaper is hard to remove, very hard. There are kits that you can buy that show how paint is applied to look like wallpaper. I saw them at Home Depot. Good luck Cassandra.

It is all about taste and price.

I agree with both of the above. I personally like most of the room painted and one wall or part of it wallpapered for a feature wall. Keep in mind that wall paper can limit you in the rest of your decorating so choose one that you really like.

Wallpaper. If new drywall, make sure you prime. Surface should be clean. Not at all hard to remove. I live in a very old house that had layers - wallpaper over paint, over paint, over wallpaper - right down to the original 1910 wallpaper that had been applied with glue from hell. Just score the surface, wet down thoroughly, keep wet and use a wallpaper steamer and a flat blade to remove. Wipe down area with vinegar water to remove residual wallpaper glue. Move on to next area.
