It sounds like you could use some shelves, cubbies, and baskets to store things. I hope that gives you a good start.
Pack suitcases with 2 weeks worth of clothes and living essentials. Put everything else in opaque, labeled boxes or totes. Store totes elsewhere if you can. Decorate the cleared surfaces so it looks like a staged home ready to sell. Take a picture of the staged room and post it where you can see it every day. Live from the items in the suitcase, and only pull out other things from storage totes you absolutely must have. They can only stay in the room if you have a designated place for them. Look at the picture of the lovely staged room every day in the evening before bed and remind yourself that this is the look you want, and clear to restore the room to match the photo. After a few weeks of living in the cleared space, you can update the staging and photo based on actual living experience. The stored stuff can be sold or given away when your attachment to the items lessens. The things you take care of and see every day have a hold on you. Their absence helps lessen their hold on you.
Hi ! First you need to rd clutter your room !!! Really think about what you need and don't need or use anymore . This is not easy to do , but worth it in the end ! I just moved to a new place and I was determined not to bring my dresser , I wanted to get all my clothes in my closet , which was fairly small ( not big enough to hold a washer and dryer ! ) it was very hard to make the decisions , but I did it and am so much happier now ! As for organizing your room .. Put shelves in your closet over the washer & dryer to keep laundry supplies and if you have any room put some baskets on the shelves and keep shoes or sweaters in them . Use nightstands that have drawers for extra storage , also get under the bed tubs that can hold things like shoes or out of season clothes . If you need more room find a small area to put up some shelves on the bedroom wall for more storage or get an entertainment center and put your tv on it and use the rest of the space for storage . Good luck !!!
Here's what I did to organize my small laundry space. Maybe that would be a good place to start? https://jessicawellinginteriors.com/small-laundry-room-makeover/
