I just wash mine with Dawn dish liquid. If I need to sanitize, white vinegar works.
I put mine in the dishwasher. That may not be the best way, but it does clean them well. I also use a citrus powder that helps, LemiShine from Walmart brand of Equate.

Hand wash wooden utensils as soon as possible after using, then towel dry. Avoid soaking unless they are stained. To remove stains hydrogen peroxide, as well as bleach are effective. Lemon juice, baking soda and/or salt are also recommended as a scrub for removing stains. Odors are handled by lemon juice, vinegar or bleach. Remember not to soak wood for longer than 10 minutes, then rinse and dry the item.
Older wooden utensils can get fuzzy with damaged fibers. Rub these areas with steel wool or fine sandpaper to remove the fuzz. Last, but not least, oil your wooden utensils regularly. This will extend their useful life. Mineral oil is readily absorbed and will keep the utensils glossy. Other good oils to use are vegetable or coconut oil. You want to use an oil that does not easily get stale or attract insects.
