Beautiful choice! Sand and clean the tray first. You can use a primer coat or leave the wood grain showing. Be sure to spray the surface of the tray with water if you want the colors to flow. You can spray, spatter, squirt, or sling the Unicorn SPiT onto the wood, or use a brush. Again, if you want the colors to flow into each other, cover the tray with Saran Wrap, and use your fingers to manipulate the paint. Remove the wrap, and let the tray dry. If there is any part you want to redo, spray with water and reapply the US. When finished and dry (1-2 days), spray with an oil-based sealer so the water-based paint won’t run any more. Best wishes!
