Working on styling our newly renovated bathroom. Do these antique bronze shelves compliment or clash with the brushed nickel?Any styling tips appreciated!
They go nicely because of the dark cabinetry. Once you close the shower curtain, no one will notice. Even if the faucet on the sink is brushed nickel, the shelves are lovely. Nice choice!
Add one small item like a hand soap dispenser, soap dish, or toothbrush holder in the same finish as your shelves to bring that metal to your sink. Also, (personal opinion) I think your shower curtain needs more color. It doesn't have to be bright, even a subtle pattern would add a lot of interest to your bath.
The bathroom look fresh, clean, and neat , which is the trend now in bathroom decor instead of 'over decorating' with cluttered accessories.
As the black color of the shelf brackets matches the dark vanity base,
I would say leave the shelves and the hardware. If you start removing them, you are going to have big problems trying to fill in the holes made by the hardware, and getting the new hardware to fit and stay anchored. If it is a 'patch job' your eye will see it all the time when you walk in the room.
I agree with others who have said it is time now to start adding some color and character. Think quality, not quantity, selecting a few areas to inject color.
The dark vanity base needs some dark color on the other side of the room in the room to balance its weight. Suggestions for shower curtains that would accomplish this are seen below.
If you wanted the maximum light inside the tub/shower, then choose a transparent or semi transparent curtain, and punch up the color with larger, brightly colored, or patterned hooks. I would also switch out the two clear cabinet knobs with a patterned, more showier style, that would tie into the flooring color, such as the ceramic designs below.

I think they look great.
Looks good to me! Love your tile layout, too! Maybe the shower curtain needs a design with a color that matches or compliments the vanity.
It looks fab :)
I like them! I’m not the type that likes everything to match. Calm looking room!
If it bothers you why not try some spray paint with the brushed nickel finish. Rustoleum has a great line.
Looks great. Mixing metal finishes is very "in" right now and you've done it beautifully!

I looks really good. The Antique bronze if fine. A shower curtain with both the gray and tan colors would tie it all together.
They look great. It's a great fit. Add a little character.
It looks great so far, just add a pop of your favorite color, picture or towels, accessories, etc., enjoy !
I think it looks fab, I love the green plant on the shelves, ties in with the cabinet.

Love it. Looks like it’s straight from HGTV
Feel free to mix metals! It adds visual interest.
