Hi AJ, we removed yucca plants and it took a lot of digging and hard work, but we are glad we did it. Take a spade and dig around the plant be sure to get all the roots.
I found that after digging up the yucca plant I did not get all the roots out and little yucca plants kept coming up. I kept cutting them down at ground level or lower and eventually they stopped growing. Didn't realize how many roots they had and how hard to really get rid of the plant.
Sadly, only digging them up will permanently take care of them.
