Should our peninsula match our cabinets or our walls?
should we paint our peninsula white like our cabinets? Pics below are of the peninsula now which is the same color as our walls.

Hi Linnea. I think you should leave it the color of the walls because it looks like an extension of the wall. Plus it would be harder to keep white clean.
Linnea, I think the colors are beautiful, but you could paint if you want to. I believe everyone has different tastes and you are the one who has to live with it, so what ever you like is how it should be. You can paint it and if you don't like it you can always put it back. Good luck with your project.
I agree with Cindy. It's part of the wall so it should be same color as the wall. Another option would be to paint it one or two shades darker than the wall to make it stand out like an accent wall.
The challenge with painting your peninsula is where to start and stop the cupboard color and switch to the wall color. On the left is where the problem lies. For this reason I say stick with what you’ve done! :)
I would actually install a ship lap in lighter wood or stained gray on the back of the peninsula!

I would paint it in an accent color or the wall color. I would not go white because my family would ruin it.
Hi Linnea,
The walls of the Peninsular should be as the Kitchen walls. Add strong Accent colour to the Stool Tops and accessories. Best wishes.
