How can I use pallets to make countertops?
I've seen pallets used to do back splash how can i make counter tops out of them would i grout them then stain thanks for your help

Can I use peel and stick floor tiles to resurface my countertop??
I want to refurbish my kitchen/bath countertops with peel and stick floor tiles. Is this possible and if so what prep work do I need to to to ensure that they stick?
I would not advise this. Pallet wood is very rough and knotty and full of nails. It would take an extreme amount of sanding to have it be smooth enough . Or you could cover it with a thin piece of plywood that would be smooth.
Here's one way Irene! You will have to consider that most pallets have been treated chemicals and the boards are not consistently sized in thickness and width. It can be done but you might consider other wood!

Some pallets are also treated and you do not want that treated wood anywhere in your home.
