I've made glittered angels using glittered card stock from the craft store that doesn't cost a lot and vintage clothespins that are pretty easy to find. Take a look https://www.homeroad.net/2018/11/diy-glitter-wing-angel-ornaments.html
The glass balls (or plastic clear ones) are pretty inexpensive at the craft store (use a coupon!) Then just add glitter. I've found that the static in the ball holds the glitter to the ball insides. Use very fine glitter for best results.
You can buy ornaments, craft glue or tacky glue or mod podge and glitter all at the dollar store ! You can buy the ornaments , it doesn't matter what color , since your will be covering them in blue and glitter ! You can even cover the balls with wrapping paper using glue , then more glue and glitter ! Have fun !

You can make a photo back-drop for New Years using old CDs. Just drill a hole in the top and bottom of each one and use fishing line to attach them in rows. Hang them from a curtain rod for a sparkly back-drop!
