Is super glue interchangeable with hot glue?
The most recent post about the snow globes. They used hot glue and a proxy? Glue but I was wondering if super glue would also work?

Hi If it something that you saw in a Hometalk posted project, ask your question on the post. It can be hard for us to guess about which project you are describing.
If you ever want to go back to see a particular project, just click on the little blue house at the top of this page, left-hand corner. If you can't find a particular project, you can use the search bar. Also, please consider checking out "Explore Projects" for even more additional ideas.
The hot glue creates a better barrier from the liquid leaking out instead of super glue.
Hi Amy,
As Vimarhonor stated, we don't know which project you saw. Many projects are repeated on a seasonal basis so there is no way to know which you saw as the latest. I put - snowglobe - in the box next to the "little blue house" where it says "Find your next DIY project!" and found many snowglobe projects. Maybe you'll recognize one of these. Wishing you the best.

I don't think you would get the same results, just guessing since I'm not sure which project.
Is this the one you saw? https://www.hometalk.com/39781546/candle-mason-jar-snow-globe?expand_all_questions=1
As others have said, you can ask the person who posted the tutorial--I'm sure she'd be happy to help!

It should work!
You cuold always try the super glue, and if it doesn't work, then you can go grab the hot glue and the epoxy.
Super glue takes a lot longer to dry than hot glue. You have to keep the pieces together for a much longer time to set. Hot glue dries much faster so you don't have to hold the objects for very long at all. Also try E-6000 craft glue.
Amy....If I were doing crafts I use hot glue but probably different temp guns for different material. Super glue to me is for fixing a broken or chipped part.
No
No super glue dries instantly we’re hot glue take a couple of minutes
