How can I repair chair legs so they don't scratch the laminate floors?

I got tired of replacing the felt pads so I bought rubber pieces that fit over the chair legs and they work great got them at Home Depot they have them in colors and clear and also silicone covers as well https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jO2b_EFYSww

I would use a oak wood if you are installing floors and also add lots of scatter rugs around areas that have traffic

There are plastic protectors made for this. You can nail in or self stick. Another option is caps for the chair legs.

Otherwise, look for the ones with a silicon cup that slips over the chair leg....

It depends on what the chair legs are made of but your local home improvement store will have loads of options.

I've use the stick on chairs leg pad from $1 store and they have lasted 3 years now. Just make sure you clean the bottoms of the legs really well before applying.
