I really like using a microfiber flat mop. Rinse the mop pad and wring it out tight before starting. Also, ALWAYS thoroughly dust mop or vacuum before using any moisture. Then use a neutral cleaner such as a few drops of dish soap in a sink of water or a spray bottle with equal parts water, vinegar and alcohol with 3 drops of dish soap and a few drops essential oils.
I found one thing that really helped was what I was using to clean mine with. Ended up getting a CXhome Hard Wood Floor Mop from amazon. It is made just for wood floors (you can use it on other types or course). It came with 2 microfiber reusable pads and the mist is so fine when it is dispensed that there is no streaking at all. Excellent quality, no dripping and easy to refill the dispenser too. Much better then the Swiffer I had been using and about $10 more than the Swiffer.
Bone for laminate floors.

Most manufacturers recommends frequent sweeping to prevent scratching and mopping with plain water, not allowing water to lay on the floor. If it's really dirty, a mixture of vinegar and water can be used.
Hello Marie,
I use a wet wipe on my floors under a mop, or you could use any of these types of cloth and dispose of them after use, or wash and use as dusters.............

I use vinegar, dawn and lemon juice cleaner in a spray bottle. I spray a section then use my shark steam cleaner on that section. Cleans beautiful and dries instantly. Make sure to work backwards do you don’t walk over floor until completely dry. I have a Doberman and he is a dirt magnet!!

Do not use a stem cleaner as it can ruin laminate. Laminate does not like water. I use vinegar and water in a spray bottle. Half and half. I spray it on A MICROFIBER cloth or my swifter. First I vacuum the floor then clean with the vinegar and water.
Whatever you do DO NOT use Holland House product, it will ruin your floors.
Home Depot sells a product called Zep, for laminate floors, I tried that but the vinegar and water does not leave streaks.
