Hi John. At our old house we had very hard water and my shower doors always looked cloudy. The one product that worked best was CLR. The trick to using this product is to spray it on and walk away. Come back in a half-hour and wipe the doors down. My doors looked crystal clear and I was happy with results.
Many thanks Cindy, I will give it a try.

Hello. We have very hard water too. I’m considering a preventative measure after the shower door is clean.
You may wish review this information as well —-as an alternative to put in place for prevention.
Considering the Rain X products for shower door care and maintenance.
WE used to use car paste wax to protect the glass. A water softener also is very helpful. We bought shower doors that had a protective coating on the doors - from door manufacturer.
Cleaning can be done with something like CLR.
Invest in a scrub brush that is battery operated like the Hurricane Spin Brush. Lysol Power Scum cleaner in the blue trigger spray bottle is a good product. Blue Dawn & White Cleaning Vinegar 50/50 works well too.
