Can I adhere bull denim to tarpaulin using fabric glue?
I want to make a non-sew picnic blanket. Would fabric glue work for plastic tarpaulin and bull denim? If not, any other suggestions?

I have used fabric glue on a few projects and don't believe it will last. You may have to see around the patches.

Waterproof Blanket
Reading the above comments I think something stronger like E6000 would last longer. I recommend hemming first. You can see a hem or glue it down.
I think most fabric glues are meant to be used on porous fabrics so the tarpaulin wouldn't be a recommended fabric to use. Having said that, if you are bonding a sheet of Denim on top of a sheet of tarpaulin (which is how I imagine it) I'd have thought you'd get a decent bond due to the large surface area. If it was me I'd think it was worth a go - perhaps try a test piece and see how it goes?
Use Locktite spray adhesive. Spray the tarp and the back if the fabric. Wait a few minutes till tacky to the touch. Then apply the fabric. Once they make contact the bond is permanent.
Here are some similar products to US spray adhesives in South Africa. You may want to call the companies to see where they are available.
