After you've cleaned up the waste/water from the floor, use a bleach solution - 1 cup of bleach to a gallon of water. Use a mop or a cloth. So sorry you're dealing with this...
Hi ! Try using a spray enzyme cleaner !!! They can be found in any pet supply store , and even in some supermarkets , found in the pet aisle , not in the cleaning supply area . Good luck !!!
Hello. I would suggest to wipe or mop everything down with either a diluted bleach solution or or Lysol solution. Do not combine - choose one or the other.
Hydrogen Peroxide is a great disinfectant that won't harm finishes. Our pediatrician recommended it over bleach because it isn't toxic. So if you have kids or pets, I would go with that or something else that isn't harmful. 1 cup per gallon of water. If you are super concerned, go with a straight rinse of hydrogen peroxide.
Any good bathroom cleaner that has bleach in it. Bleach is a disinfectant but it is not a cleaner by itself. Diluting it with water just reduces it's effectiveness.
Lysol is the commercial go to product for disinfecting bathroom floors. Put a fan on the floor to dry it out fast, I do this all the time as a caregiver for accidents.
At work in a medical lab, we used to use bleach, 1 cup bleach/gallon of water. That has been discontinued! Right now they use antibacterial wipes, which will kill most bacteria and viruses. To kill the organisms that are not killed with the wipes, use soap and water.
Best to you.
Use bleach mixed with water and ,make sure you dry it fast. I use it for my tiles and it was safe.
