Hello Phyllis,
Use a nail Brush and strong cleaner........or paint a darker colour..........
I would use a tooth brush with some soap and water, or you could try a magic eraser!
Hi Phyllis,
Where is the grout you are trying to clean...walls, floor, tub, tile, ceramic grout?
Hi Phyllis, here is a recipe for grout cleaner and instructions: https://www.diynatural.com/how-to-clean-grout-naturally/
In the past I've used a mixture of baking soda and hydrogen peroxide and have had pretty good luck with it.
Baking soda and a tooth brush is what I use. Here are some tips.

Once you get it sparkling clean, consider sealing it, will make the day to day cleaning much easier.
Grout typically needs some mechanical removal (old toothbrush with the head bent at 90 degree angle) in addition to chemicals that will kill the mold and break down the soap scum or floor wax- depending on where it is.
We can be more specific with more info.
Here's what I do. I have white subway tile on my kitchen backsplash with white grouting. After a thorough cleaning of the tiles themselves, I cheat somewhat with the grout. I take a piece of regular old white blackboard chalk and carefully "color" the grout with it. It's a tad tedious, and not a permanent fix but it looks really nice and lasts quite a while. I'd rather do that than the toothbrush thing!!
