A solar tube is like a sky light. Are you referring to sky lights or walk way lighting?
Most solar walk lights come on stakes which you push into the ground next to the walkway or wherever you’d like as they’re not wired.
Hi Barb, I understand it is solar tube lighting you want to attach, I hope this video helps guide you, is this sidewalk under a cover?

Hi Barb. All solar garden lights come with installation foundation stakes. Push or hammer the foundation stakes into the ground next to your walkway. Next attach the light posts. And, last but not least, position the remote solar panels. And remember that the solar lights need access to sunlight during the day in order to store enough energy to work properly at night.

Barb....you can use metal stakes with eyes...hammer into ground the distance you want then thread the plastic tubing through
You could go buy some metel skuers like for a bbq and put the point end in the ground and then put the tube through the hole at the end
