Hi there, it depends on what type of fabric the sofa is made of. I would try a mix of white vinegar and water, make sure and be gentle and do a test spot to see how the sofa material reacts.
Hello. I would recommend using OXI clean products for stain removal. Here’s a link that might be helpful

Combine 2 cups of cold water with 1 tablespoon of liquid dish soap. Wet a white towel with the soapy water.
Blot the coffee spill with the soapy towel. The coffee stain starts to lighten. As the towel soaks up the coffee, wring out the liquid into a bowl or sink.
Apply more soapy water to the coffee until the stain is no longer visible. Wet a clean towel with cool water, then blot the couch to remove the soap.

Hello Lisbon Lion 67,
A steam cleaner - maybe hire from DIY store................
I like my Bissell little green pro heat wet dry vaccuum for this
I use the upholstery attachment on my rug cleaner. Blot as much as you can, if you don't have access to one. Depending on the color and material would be the cleaning materials I would recommend. Check for a label under your cushions, which may have recommendations for cleaning. Or use the company name to locate a website. I would blot, use a damp microfiber cloth and Resolve spray cleaner for cleaning most surfaces.
If its microfiber, then this could work - https://www.hometalk.com/diy/clean/furniture/how-to-clean-a-microfiber-couch-quick-easy-10439154

No heat, as in no steam, until you’ve exhausted every solution. Heat can “set” the stain and then you’re SOL.
Because we know nothing about the fabric, I can’t be more specific.
Because of my education & profession, let us know and I can help.
