Hi Deb, sorry you have spots on your lampshades. I hope this information will help you. How do you get stains out of a fabric lampshade?
Removing light stains from a fabric lampshade
Mix a bowl of cool water with some delicate fabric detergent and apply just the soap suds to the shade in sections using a microfibre cloth, turning the shade each time to ensure full coverage. Then gently rinse off the suds and wipe the lampshade dry.Apr 22, 2019

How to Clean a Lampshade in 5 Seconds
I agree that a bit of soapy water should work. Good luck!
First, I'd try the soap and water, as others have suggested. Start simple. Don't use hot water, as that might set the stain. If the soap and water doesn't work, I'd try using a bit of liquid oxi-clean following the instructions on the bottle. Let us know how it goes!
You didn't mention the material the lampshades or comprised of so for general cleaning use an upholstery cleaner like Spot Shot and a damp microfiber cloth to gently clean.
I would make sure your lampshades aren't linen or rayon before you touch them with soap and water, they will stain. If they are I would Google a cleaner for those materials.
