You didn't specify if it is fiberglass or porcelain so I will give you answers for both. I use Mr Clean Magic Erasers on my fiberglass tub and shower as well as on the glass doors. They work great without any chemicals.

I use Scrubbing Bubbles for routine cleaning. Kaboom if it has buildup. Sometimes all you need is a soapy microfiber cloth or magic eraser. Cheap shampoo like Suave works well. If you are looking at old stains, try Bartender's friend or Bon Ami.
I use a mixture of blue dawn dish soap, 5 to 6 oz in a 32 oz bottle, fill to the top with wholite vinegar, mix it up. Squirt on the tub, let it set and clean with a soft brush. Rinse and repeat if needed.

My favorite cleaner, which is a no scrub solution, is Wet & Forget Shower. As long as it isn't a marble tub. Spritz once a week and that's all.
I clean my fiberglass shower with Easy Off Oven Cleaner in the blue can. Spray it on, turn on exhaust fan and close door behind you, come back in half and hour and scrub with a broom or sponge and rinse.
I guess it makes sense. Easy Off is designed to lift off grease and baked on gunk, and the stuff in the shower is probably (ew) a combo of skin and grease and soap scum and hard water.

Additionally Prevent soap scum and mold buildup by using a squeegee, sponge, or absorbent towel on the tub, doors and walls of the enclosure after every shower. Doing so helps remove residue before it hardens, while also eliminating the moisture that mold and mildew need in order to thrive. “If you use a sponge or towel, be sure to wring it well and allow it to dry completely between uses,” “Launder the towel or throw the sponge in the dishwasher to disinfect.”

Hi Kathy. I'm Cindy. I use Scrubbing Bubbles to clean our tub. It works great and since I have used it, I can recommend it. I was very happy with results. The trick to using this product is to spray it on and walk away. Come back in about 30 mins and wipe it all up with a clean cloth. Good luck Kathy.
Hello Kathy,
Depends on your tub! If Acrylic - use a drop of Washing Up liquid or Shampoo and a non scratch sponge and hot water. If the user does this everytime the bath is used then rinses and wipes it round with the dampest towel, it will stay shiny.
If a stove enamel bath - use Barkeepers Friend or paste cleaner and a sponge after every use. Never just leave the bath and clean once a week - it will never be clean!
Best wishes......
I like to use a bathroom magic eraser.
