Inexpensive way to replace broken glass in circular outdoor table
The table is 5 ft in diameter with a hole in the center.
You could replace the glass with plywood and cover the plywood with tile and grout
A local glass company can make a new glass top, but the plywood (outdoor rated) replacement sounds good if that is what you mean by replacement.
Hi Ann, You could replace it with Plexiglas and I think the home improvement stores will cut it to the size you need.
You could possibly replace the glass with a heavy duty wire mesh cut to the proper size.
I made a new top for mine from 1x4's, stained it, and used exterior marine spar varnish on it.
The best way to do that is to replace it with wood, glass would be very expensive. Next get a good lumber place that can cut wood to your dimensions.
If you opt for glass, make sure it is tempered. I would probably prefer wood that had been tiled or decoupaged or had some other decorative treatment done to it. That way it would last.

Hello there,
Use Marine Ply for the top!
I know. I would suggest replacing it with pressure treated wood stained or treated to your decor aesthetic. Glass can be very cost prohibitive it to replace.
