Hi Dottie, TSP works great for cleaning cabinets. It will take any dirt or grease off. You can get it at any home store

TSP, Murphy's Oil Soap. One cup of vinegar to one gallon hot water and a few squirts of Dawn dish liquid.

  • For wood cabinets, I always use Murphy's Oil Soap.

Do you want to clean the outside of your interior cabinets or do you want to clean cabinets that are outside?

Hi Dottie: I would not use vinegar on painted cabinets, because vinegar can remove paint. Also a magic eraser is like using a fine sandpaper on your cabinets and can leave marks. I would use a watered down solution of either Krud Kutter or Simple Green. Use a sponge to apply and rinse well. Wipe down with a micro cloth to dry and avoid drip marks.
