How to remove dark lint from a light colored item?
I have a pastel pink comforter and its collected dark lint from my throw blanket. It won't go away in the wash and makes my bedding looking awful. Any ideas on how to remove/fix this problem? Thank you!

I have a similar problem with a fleece blanket. I small hand help pill or lint remover can work but it takes time. A plastic comb might work if you have one with teeth that are close together. To help prevent this from happening again be sure to add fabric softener to the wash and wash in cold water.
I'm wondering if the sticky rollers for removing pet hair might help?
Duct tape wrapped around your hand with the adhesive side out can help separate the two from one another. It an be time consuming, but maybe an evening of working on it while watching a good movie would solve the problem.
Ali: sweater stones may work well

A sweater shaver will make for an easier job.
You can use masking tape or painters tape. Wrap around your hand and wipe down. Other than that, you can purchase a lint roller. I have some that are "sticky", after use you rinse off and let dry for a good as new, eco friendly solution.
I've seen these squeegee type products lately that remove pet hair. Maybe something like that will work and be less wasteful than a roller.
Take duct tape around your hand and tap it all over to remove it or try putting it in the dryer for like 15 min with dryer sheets to get the lint off
.Hello Ali,
Pick each piece off individually, or push sellotape etc. hard onto the places and them pull up quickly to remove lint or cut them off with an electric razor or bobble remover...............

I bought a Gleener from Amazon. I love how it works on every type of material from heavy to fine gauge sweaters with a changeable head. Makes sweaters that you want to throw away like new again.
Hi Ali, you can use a pumice stone and a lint roller on this, or you can buy a lint shaver, I have one ans it is wonderful! Here's a video that shows how to remove pilling with a lint shaver. It may take some time but it will be worth it it
