How to keep my hot tub lid from dripping?
My hot tub cover looks ok but it drips on the sides, it is not exposed to the sun and is on a ceramic tiled floor in a screened porch. It drip on the sides even when closed. Any ideas what is wrong and how to fix it?

I never knew that you needed to dry out hot tub lids. But here is a short article that explains this in more detail.

Hi Betty, when you get this kind of dripping, it is because the hot tub lid has become waterlogged. Hope these two links help you out

Hello Betty. You need to dry the inside of the lid after each use to keep it from dripping. The dripping is from moisture that has built up. Good luck Betty. Stay healthy and well.
I agree. It's like when you get condensation on glass and it gets you window sill wet, but, there is no leak. Good luck and stay safe!
It is possible the lid has been oversized. It should be a pretty tight fit between the skirt of the lid to the outer rim of the hot tub. If it isn't tight, it may be allowing the condensation to drip down. You may want to check out your lid and see if you need a new one. Also, the lids have a lifespan.

Could it be from condensation?
Hello Betty,
Maybe you could insulate the inside of the lid with polystyrene, or use it around the edge to stop leakage....... Best wishes.
That’s the condensation from the heat I hade one you can’t control that unless you lower the heat when your not in it
