you could add a very thin piece of plywood cut to fit and nailed on or a piece of cardboard, tag board or even material and staple it to the back of your door organizer.
Repurpose over door metal shoe organizer
We added a very thin piece of bead board to the back of a table. It was lightweight and inexpensive. You could add it with hardware depending on the type of pantry organizer you have.
