A badly corroded oven implies a probable safety issue. I would seriously consider replacement.
Corroded how? Can you post a photo? If it is just burnt crusty old food, it is salvageable - if anything else it just might need to be replaced. If budget is an issue, try second hand shops or most appliance stores have a "scratch and dent" section where you can find great deals.
I had one when we moved in. We removed it from the kitchen and I crawled inside it. First, scrape all baked on spills as much as possible. Then you can go with commercial products like easy off or you can do the baking soda & vinegar (lots of posts about it here) or try a marble paste. I've also seen video demos of Norwex oven cleaner, which I am tempted to purchase.

I would use a oven cleaner
What is the corrosion from? You could try using a hard rubber spatula to see if u can get some of it off
Then start spraying heavily with something like Easy Off. Leave it on longer than it says on the can
Try lightly scraping corroded areas w razor blade. Then East- off - fume free works well

Is this a cast-iron wood stove? You can use Rustoleum rust dissolver, a scraper, a wire brush on a drill, and steel wool to remove the rust. Then spray paint black with paint for stoves. Then finish off with Williams graphite stove black to prevent rusting and a nice water resistant finish.
I agree with Olivia. Unfortunately. If it's that corroded, it may not operate properly, and a replacement is best for safety.
Easy off oven cleaner left overnight would be your first clean. Then you will have to do it again. The gook will come off.
