    Nice post from Nan W.

It seems like you and I are 2 people that really like popcorn ceilings, we have it in 2 bedrooms and had the contractor add clear glitter of sparkle to the ceiling as it was drying, love the effect, especially at night when there is light bouncing off and reflecting.

I agree that the sparkle adds dimension and mood to a room, especially a bedroom.

Everyone else is trying to remove popcorn ceiling. I don't know how much you need to do, but there are texture cans - either spray on or brush on. I had to fix area where I ran a new wire to run a fan/light combo and had cut out pieces of sheet rock to get access. I dabbed on the mixture and wasn't too obvious, except to me.

Do you need to repair a spot? They make spray cans for that sold at hardware stores. If the entire ceiling please rethink it. Popcorn ceilings are considered a cheap finishing method associated with low quality housing.

Homax makes a spray on texture that you can use to fix your ceiling. I have used it several times on the ceilings and walls, where tape needed to be repaired. It can go from very fine to thick. I too love the glitter on the ceilings. I think a textured ceiling looks great
