Did you see this on the Projects at top of the page? Otherwise, span the timber across between the two crates, fix to crates. The open sides towards the working area form the usable desk shelves. If the desk is going to be a little low, add legs (timbers) to the base of the crates. Hope that is of some help to you..

Hi Nancy. Use wood (perhaps plywood?) to create a platform. Put your crates on both ends to create cubbies. Then another board over the cubbies. This will create a bench. If you want height to the bench, attach legs, or castor wheels if you want to move it around. Good luck Nancy. Hope all is well with you.
