Hi JP, this is to fix cracks in a concrete fountain but may help... http://www.ocpond.org/tips-to-restore-a-broken-cement-fountain/
Small cracks can be sealed with concrete sealant. Quickrete makes one. Larger cracks will need resin. I wouldn't use caulk.
Make sure you dry it out and clean around the crack. A good caulking shoud seal it up for a while.
Use a two part epoxy to fill the crack. Caulk will not last
You could try or you could try concrete patch it comes in a tub just pack the crack up with it .
You could patch with concrete

You can buy caulk for concrete that should work. It has a slow dry time.
There is a caulk that is made for concrete that you can do it but it is only like a band aid application that you will need to re apply here and there in the future
Hello JP,
Make sure it is waterproof and frost proof caulk then you should be fine!
Hello. I would suggest epoxy putty. These epoxy sticks are found in the plumbing section and I meant to repair your household plumbing pipes it would probably be the perfect application for your birdbath as long is not a structural repair.
Bird baths are quite heavy if they are concrete.
The putty can be sanded drilled or painted if necessary after it is cured. They retail for about six dollars for the brand pictured below at big box hardware stores.. There’s a little bit more on Amazon. They also go under the name of JB Weld Apoxsee sticks which cost a little more. They can be portioned to be used for multiple repairs.
This stuff is easy to use and works:

Do you have birds who drink from this birdbath?
If so, not all epoxies or cementicious caulk are food safe. Some are after curimg 72 hours.
Most of them need curring temps not found until Spring.
