What type of material is your present bathroom floor made out of? Is it vinyl?
If you are not sure, please post a picture so that we can see what you are starting with.
If floor boards, go a head and use regular paint - prime - undercoat and then topcoat.
or you could use Paint for garden use or use garden use stain instead - lots of colours to choose from. Best wishes
