Maybe a picture will help. This one you can push to the left hard and it will line up against the frame again but the right side has a knob which has been pulled up and won't go back into the track.
I think several people have asked this but no one gave a answer yet.?
How do you repair folding doors that are off their track? No track at the bottom. The inside is falling apart too.
The carpenter used one inch screws which are now half way out and bent. This is an outside wall and this is a spit log cabin so they should have been able to find some wood. Thank you

Replacing Sliding Door Rollers
Best way forward is to remove the doors and tracks completely. Check mechanism for wear and renew worn bits. It may be better to replace the whole mechanism if it is too worn. Check and oil the hinges as required. They may also need to be replaced. To oil, use one drop of light machine oil into the top of the hinge and make sure it does not run. Work each hinge to ensure it is free (not sticking). Put it all back together by reinstalling the track, and sealing with some paintable silicon. Place the rollers in the track, attach the doors to the rollers and adjust so the doors are free of the floor. Depending on the adjustment mechanism, you may neet to lift it by winding a nut up. Paint and trim out. I would suggest that you can find how tos on you tube for checking your tracks
Good luck with it
The folding doors don't have a bottom track. They hang from the hardware above. If the metal track is bent straighten it with pliers. Put the hardware piece attached to the door top in the track and bend the track back into place. From your picture that looks like the doors I had. Get the button top back in the track then bend the track tighter to keep it from coming out of the track again.

The roller at the top is spring loaded. Push it down and get it back into the track. However, if it keeps coming out, then the top frame and rail may not be level. You can add a shim near the center of the track to bring the track down a bit. Make sure your doors are plumb by putting a level on the edge. If they are not plumb, then the pivot at the bottom of the door may just need to be moved slightly.
I had to use a screw driver or other flat tool to push the button on the top of the door down. When just below the track, let the button pop up and it should be in the track. Not explaining it too well but it worked for me. Good idea to pinch the track together more so the button does not slip out so easily.
There should be an adjustment piece of hardware at the top. I have one set that seems to get hung at times and comes off. Since I have little hand strength, I use a screw driver to pop it back into the track.

How do I fix a bi fold door that’s falling of the track?
I usually just apply a lot of hand pressure at the top to pop it back onto the track.
Either hang it back on the track by making it fit back into the metal track, if it won't go back in, replace the track and put the doors back on. Or remove the track and hang a curtain with a tension rod.
Here is another solution https://www.hunker.com/13711759/troubleshooting-and-fixing-bi-fold-doors
I get this often with mine when I pack the cupboard to full and the door catches and it bends the track. Mine dies not have a track below. If the screws are coming out you need to take it all down and straighten the track before you hand it again. Another issue I get is the roller at the top starts to come out of the door frame so check that too.
Should be able to replace track itself. Try one of home centers. Also look at top of doors and see if wheel or ball at top needs to be replaced. Top rail should be removable, held in place by a few screws. Take rail and picture of door top feature to hardware store. Could get store to cut to length.

I had the same problems with mine. I decided to take them out and I put a pretty rod iron curtain rod with nice drapes/ curtains. I've gotten so many complaints. I used little things around the room to accent the same colors in the curtain. The room looks like I remodeled it completely when I only took out the doors and put up curtains 😊😁👍🏻
Hello,
Take them down and use a strong filler to fill the damaged areas. Then rub down when dry and paint. All should now make it possible for you to re fit the doors. Best wishes.
