You could stack them like steps and use them as planters for flower, vegetables or herbs.
Stack, screw together like a book shelf and use for plant shelf. Add hooks to hang garden tools if tall enough. Plant food, garden gloves etc. Paint a pretty green and add your watering can, hang a hook and hang your hose on the side. If you don't care how wet they get add a board to the front after you have them attached like a shelf and add a board to the front of the drawers or insert a plastic long tray. Plant herbs in them for fresh use in your cooking.

Old Drawers Turned into Planter Boxes
Hi Penny, find some different length spindles to each of the drawers to make "end tables" for your outdoors. You can then use them as a place to set glasses or other items or you could also plant with succulents as a type of raised bed gardening or both. They could become a great conversation piece used this way.
Hi Penny, hope you find the project you are looking for.

Cover with marine varnish and use as flower pots. I saw a project where someone did that.

I would stain paint with weather resistant paint or stain. Line them with garden materialand use them for a herb garden. You can put them on a DIY tiered shelving so you can tend to them without getting on your knees. It would be a beautiful herb garden idea. Or you can paint them and put them with the bottom against a wall for shelving
Hi! If you want to use them outside, how about as planters? Stay safe!
