I can't find anything specific that would do this to your leaves. But a good rule of thumb is to wipe them down with a wet paper towel - both sides of each leaf - once a week. To make this process even better, you can put a drop or two of soap in the water before you wet the towel. If soap isn't your thing, you can also use Neem oil in the water. Both will create a barrier around the insect that will cause it to suffocate.
Hope that helps!
Grasshoppers. I have an issue with them also!
Not sure what it is but wipe it down, I would use a microfiber cloth, then spray with either soapy water or mineral oil to keep them at bay.
Mist it with a pesticide, like Sevin. Sevin, is safe for vegetables & fruits, as long as you don’t harvest until after 7 days.
I agree, find a pesticide you can mist over the plant that is safe for vegetables.
A pesticide will definitely help
I would for sure turn to pesticide for help
Why and how do plants consume insects? After conducting several studies on these plants, it was found that most of them grow in nitrogen-poor soils by swamps. Nitrogen is an essential element for plants; thus, they make up for it and other missing nutrients by consuming insects. if you wanna be former here is land for lease for you in USA hunting
Hi, Possibly Slugs or Snails!
It does not really look like a disease on your corn leaves, rather the work of an insect chewing away at them, the holes and tears are not uniform like a disease. You could take a good look at both sides of the leaves and see if you can spot anything doing just that to your plant. Sevin would be a good place to start. Here are some common diseases the effect corn leaves:
