Any ideas on how to repurpose/reuse old glass shower doors?
We've taken out old glass shower doors that had terrible hard water deposit. Any suggestions on how to repurpose or reuse them would be appreciated.
It should have wooden trim holding the glass in place. You will need to remove the trim then you will be able to take out the old glass and put in new. Most of the ones I have seen are held in place by tiny tacks.
Maybe this can help you out!

Do you want to know how to cut glass?
Usually in old homes I've lived in ..... there is some small wooden trim over the edges of the glass you delicately have to pry up using a scraper first. Then you need to scrape off any putty, and the glass will come out.

Hello Farmer,
Remove old Putty with a Putty knife. Then remove the small nails securing the glass. Measure the pane of glass you removed and get a new piece cut at the glass suppliers. Fit glass back in the same manner. You can buy nails and Putty at most DIY stores. Don't forget to finish the job by Staining or Painting when completely dry.
There is some good information here:

Hi! One of my first repair jobs as a new homeowner was replacing a pane of glass. Wear goggles and gloves (and shoes, as I learned). Old glass is easier to break than you might think. Carefully work any molding or window putty away. I often take pictures when I take something apart so I don't forget how it goes back together. A metal putty knife will help you clean and remove anything and if it's old, you will have some thin molding strips, putty and glazing points (those little sharp points that hold the glass in place. Use what was originally there, and the new glass should fit in snugly. Unless you are like me and measured incorrectly in which case you then learn how to cut the glass! Good luck and stay safe!
