I think color is the best way to beautify a yard. Whether it's with colorful bushes like azaleas or pretty planters. Yard art is another way although too much can make it look junky.

If you have a Lawn, Cut the grass and Edge. That is the single best thing you can do. Then add flowers and Plants. If starting from scratch, Measure the area and transfer it on to a piece of paper using an easy scale (ie. 1" to a foot or yard/metre etc. Then using a pencil design away, you can always rub it out , until you are happy with the look. Then transfer the design onto your plot. Have fun and enjoy the journey!
