Hello here’s a link of some flooring options. One of the most economical and easier choices might be plank or sheet vinyl flooring. The choice may depend on your skill level and budget. A trip to your local outlet like floor and decor might open some visual options to help narrow down your choices.
Hope this helps
Hi Ellen, sheet vinyl would definitely be the least expensive but, perhaps, not quite the "Easiest" flooring to a apply. Instead I would look into vinyl stick on tiles. They come in a huge array of different colors and styles and are very user friendly when it comes to apply them.
Hello Ellen, if your current bathroom floor is level and in fairly good repair you might locate some nice self-sticking vinyl floor tiles. No need for grout and cement, etc. of other tiles.
Vinyl planks are very popular now and easy to install.

It depends on your current flooring. You will probably have to pull it up. But in general, you can put down some type of vinyl by having a smooth surface that is clean. I would recommend luan plywood then the new flooring. If you go with press and peel tile, add an adhesive as they tend to come loose if any water gets under neath.
Check your local facebook marketplace. You might find something nice at a good price left over from a project or someone changed their mind about.
It depends on what your current flooring is, in a way. I'd be hesitant to put anything over it in case the old flooring fails; it will cause anything above it to fail costing you twice as much. You can paint the floor. If it's ceramic, you can see how I did it here: https://www.flippingtheflip.com/2019/03/how-to-stencil-paint-ceramic-tile-floor.html Or you could try skim coat concrete over it but know it might develop hairline fractures.
If you go with peel and stick, add an adhesive. That or sheet vinyl are the easiest and most cost effective.
