How do I turn a original 1936 wooden floor into wall future?
We recently moved into a house built in 1936 with all the original flooring. Unfortunately, we can't keep it, because there is quite a load of the panels have some holes in them, but I don't want to bin them. How could I make a nice looking wall future from the floor panels, please? Thank you

You could do an accent wall or board and batten with the flooring
You could do an accent wall or board and batten with the flooring
How beautiful and what a great find! You would make a reclaimed wood accent wall. You would attach and arrange the wood on a single wall in a pattern that you like and then attached it with the appropriate screws or nails for your wall type. It would make a gorgeous accent wall.
You could do a herringbone pattern and either frame for a decor piece or do an accent wall.
You could use it as a ceiling on a porch or a special room that would accomodate that type of accent.
Any kind of pattern on the wall would look pretty. But, have you considered repairing the holes in the flooring? I've seen it done and it comes out beautiful. Round holes from old radiator pipes and be filled using wooden dowels and larger damage can be repaired with scrap wood from a salvage yard.
you could take them and make a feature wall using some of the boards but a good floor contractor maybe could fix those floors so they can be used
If you can't use it as flooring it would be cool to hang it in a herringbone pattern on the wall.
You could use them as a backsplash in a kitchen or a bathroom, as the backing for a bookshelf, as a surround around the fireplace. You could also mount a really large mirror on one of the panels.

I think you could use the flooring to make a pretty planked feature wall.

Hello. I have seen wooden wall quilts made out of strips of wood in different patterns. You could find a favorite quilt pattern in replicate it with your wood strips.
Hi Eniko,
Clad the wall in Shiplap fashion or make an upright feature. Make a Mock Skyline using the planks in a random height way. Hope that helps!

Make a pattern you want to make on the floor for the wall then take a picture of it and get glue to hold it on the wall at home depot
You could attach them to walls quite easily. Just plan ahead of time the look you’re trying to achieve then seek out the appropriate tools and fasteners.
