How do I create a luminous celestial sky for bedroom ?
How do I create a luminous celestial sky for bedroom on walls and ceiling , but with a more sophisticated look and feel but at the same time a low budget ? I am limited on funds, but I want to have maybe the milky way on the ceiling along with the Big Dipper Little Dipper ect. or perhaps the moon or a plant on the wall.

Hello do you know anybody with a vinyl cutter? Perhaps they could cut some metallic or vinyl stickers or metallic papers for you. Hope you find the perfect economical solution.
Hi there, this is pretty informative tutorial: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sdT0JxSU_Ys I have no free hand painting skills whatsoever but even I might be able to pull this one off lol Stickers might not be the look you're going for but vinyl decals and stickers are definitely available in star shape once you paint the sky.
These are beautiful. http://nightskymurals.com/how-to-transform-any-ceiling-into-the-beautiful-night-sky/
Hi Heidi. I think paint will give you the biggest bang for your buck. Also, for the stars and planets, you could use glow-in-the-dark paint. This sounds like a great DIY project. I hope you will consider posting it here on Home Talk for all of our enjoyment. Good luck Heidi. Happy New Year.
Hello Heidi,
Try this out on a board first before committing to the ceiling. Use a combination of Flat paint, Satin and Gloss paint. Pearl and Luminous Paints. Treat the Ceiling as an Artist would treat a canvas. Best wishes. You can probably buy Luminous Stars to stick on. Hope that helps.

Here's a post that might help - https://www.thespruce.com/celestial-home-decor-inspiration-4155176#:~:text=To%20create%20a%20luminous%20space,without%20stepping%20out%20your%20door.
If you are good at free handing you can paint it. If not try stencils to paint them. You can use a silver tube for more sophisticated look.
Painting it yourself would be the most economical. You've been given lots of helpful links here. I would start with your base color and work slowly and deliberately, adding the elements you want.
You can check the mid-mix section of the paint department or Habitat ReStore for paints. Find an image online that you like and use that for reference. Paint the base color then dab on the star dots.
