Hello what is your exact question about lumber prices?
Sometimes the quantity and prices can differ from local lumberyard and big box hardware stores.
DIY stores vary slightly from store to store, the quality remains about the same, they also may not have the same stock that you need. Sometimes they have sales, you'd have to research their advertisements which usually change weekly or bi-weekly.
Some may charge a delivery price as well.
If you are looking for reclaimed lumber, that price would be set by the individual owner, probably based on supply and demand.
Hello Bud,
Check out your DIY's , and specialist Lumber Stores for special offers, as they differ all over the country!
It depends on your area. Check with your local lumber yard or home improvement store.
You can get lumber price in your particular area and compare from store to store.
Hi, depending on where you live, you can check for local stores or major home improvement stores for prices. Most have online websites now that will allow you to check them out before you go.
I would call all of your local lumber yards and then reach out a bit further into the big box stores. My local yards have surprised me from time to time and actually gave me a better deal than stores like Home Depot etc. I also have saw mills around me that I always check with when I'm looking for really big lumber (6x6s etc) going straight to the source can be a great resource.
we don't have prices on lumber you can google home depot, lowes, etc in your area and see what the prices are or call the stores-
If all of these answers are redundant and not what you want next time ask for an answer in the form of a sentence of two describing what you need answered like "How do I find out the cost of all of the wood I need for this project?"

These vary by location, by type of wood and size. Best bet is to swing by your local home improvement store, shop their website, or visit a lumber yard.
It's crazy what has happened to them. It's the law of supply & demand. My husband is in the timber business and they are not paying any higher prices for timber. The issue is mills. Several have been shut down or limited production. At least that is in the SouthEast United States.
Are crazy now because of all the storms and re building
