Hi Ida, White glue is usually water bases so the good news is, you should be able to get it out. Scrape as much of the glue off as possible and then soak the fabric in water overnight (or all day). The water should help to soften it up and then throw it in the wash right away (while it is soft) and your detergent should get the rest out in the washer. Hope it helps!

Apply rubbing alcohol to a cotton cloth and gently rub the stain. Rub the stain from the outside in to avoid spreading it, and continue until the glue is removed. After the excess super glue is removed, pour Tide liquid detergent directly onto the stain, making sure you completely cover it.

Knowing what kind of glue it was other than "white" would be helpful. Assuming it is like Elmer's glue it should be water soluble Soak in warm water. Check the label.
