Need some ideas for the bathroom renovation?
Hi folks, I'm living in a ten-year-old house built by my father. There are always some issues with water pipelines. Now the problem is with bathroom pipes and also with the closet. I have consulted a plumbing team. They came and done some repair, but after some days, the same issue came back. Now I am planning to renew the bathroom. . Please share your opinion and suggestions, which will be really helpful.

You will need to get the water pipe issue addressed first before doing any other renovations. I would contact the plumber who did the work and tell them the issue is still there or contact a new plumber.
Without knowing what your pipe issue is or your closet, general advice for renewing a bathroom without a complete gut and remodel is to start small. Paint and linens go a long way with updating a bathroom. If pipe issue is drainage, I use Green Gobbler to keep my pipes free flowing. I would definitely make sure all pipe issues are resolved before renovating. As for your closet issue, I would definitely need some information on the problem before taking it any further.
Can you share photos of the current space? Or a floor plan? that will really help!
I would get the plumbing team back and give them a chance to correct the problem they were there for to begin with. You paid them for their services and what they did was not effective for long enough. Is there a warranty on their work? Hopefully they are licensed and bonded.
I agree, you have to get the plumbing issues resolved before any renovations begin.
Here are a list of some common plumbing problems, not sure what your issues are:

Hello, are you looking for decor ideas or updated fixtures, etc? The waterline issues are urgent, you need to get them redone, or replaced with proper functioning water lines that you can rely on. Have the plumbing company that did your work come back in and do it correctly. Once that is resolved, you can look into getting some renos done. Do you have a picture you can post? Also, what are the water line problem you are experiencing?
Did you hire a handy man or a licensed plumber?
If it was a licensed plumber then you should have a contract. What does the contract say about this?
without seeing photos of what your bathroom looks like now it is hard to say what to do for reno - try looking online or through magazines for ideas and then decide what you want the bathroom to look like - get your plumbing issues fixed then go from there
You should have the first folks come back and fix it unless you suspect their workmanship is poor. After that, it’s hard to say what to renovate as you don’t mention what your goals are for the spaces. Try doing an image search or go through Pinterest for ideas.
Hello. Can you post a photograph of your current situation? Sometimes a visual can help us see what you have to work with and be able to offer suggestions with a direct focus knowing what your existing presentation is.
What exactly are the 'water pipeline issues' that you are referring to?
What is not working correctly with them?
What did the plumbers tell you as to how they repaired the problem?
You'll need a contractor to help you install the bathroom and see how to repair any pipeline issues. We got bids from 3 different ones. For the overall bathroom design itself, we went to a bathroom remodeling store and look in their showroom and then they came over to see our kitchen and measure it and then we went from there.
Hey there :)
You can try calling a different plumber, one who has a good reputation this time. But, if it looks like a recurring problem, it will be best to replace the plumbing. Make sure you don't change the pipelines' location though. You'll want to pay attention to the waterproofing which can be an issue in houses that are 10+ years old.
If you want to renovate the bathroom on your own, then here is a nice checklist of everything to do when you remodel your bathroom. If you can afford it, it would be a good idea to hand over the contract to professional re-decorators who will also replace everything that is causing problems.
Did you get this fixed?
We don't know if you've hammering, lack of vents, leaks or what.
Let us know. Thanks.
