Hi there, here's great article that will show you how to recolor leather - https://www.leathermagic.com/how-to/change-the-color-of-leather/
Here's a link to a leather and vinyl aniline dye product. Although I have not used this myself, I can offer the information to hopefully help you find a product, this is available at Amazon and cones with testimonials:

Hello. Could you post a photograph or add a little information? I believe your question might have been cut off. More information might give us details to give you the best possible answer. Recoloring furniture versus a small purse or wallet could be different solutions.
You can dye leather but I would do some test runs to get good at it. It's so easy to have color variations in the process.
Here's some info I located about dyeing leather. Perhaps it will be helpful.

You were also wanting to know about how to repad the sofa. Could you please provide more infor such as what needs repaded? Is it sofa cushions with zippers?
Hello. It looks like recoloring your sofa is covered in the above posted replies.
As far as repadding..... are you having a sofa seat cushion problem?
We had a single saggy cushion seat problem with our sofa.
We’ve rehabilitated our Natuzzi by flipping the couch over on its side removing the bottom thin black fabric (the dust cover) and addressing the interior structure. We ended up putting a piece of wood ( screwed in ) to support the inside the frame to help correct the seat from sagging, or if needed extra foam filling could be applied if needed. Reattach ( staple gun) black dust cover and enjoy the revitalized cushion with proper support.
Not sure if this is a viable solution for you, hope it helps.
Hello, I hope this helps you out, Chalk paint is awesome for so many applications!

I'd get a slip cover
You can't dye something lighter, you can go the same level of color or darker.... I have restored a couple of leather sofas for clients and use this product.... https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pt_o_qSgS3k&t=284s
And I have also put new firm foam into the cushions to make it look new. I got the foam on Amazon in a full sheet and cut with a bread knife to fit the cushion, I also wrapped each cushion foam in 1/2" dacron.
