How to paint a sofa with chalk paint?
I’ve seen several projects where dampened fabric was painted with chalk paint. Can this be done to a sofa or sitting chair without risking it rubbing off on your clothes afterwards? Thanks for the information!

Thanks everyone, I think I am all set now, just need to decide on a color and get started. I’m looking forward to doing this project!
If the fabric is olefin or polyolefin or Herculon, I would use a vinyl spray paint made for car seats. It can be bought at auto parts stores.
The reason why is that those fabrics have a very high petroleum content and chalk paint won’t want to stick to them very well.
